Selenite tumbles are smooth white or translucent stones known for their silky glow and soft luminous appearance. Many “selenite” tumbles sold today are technically Satin Spar, a fibrous form of gypsum with a flowing chatoyant shine.

Important care note:
Selenite is much softer than most stones you mentioned. It can:

• scratch very easily
• chip if dropped
• become damaged by prolonged water exposure

Because of their glow, Selenite tumbles pair beautifully in displays with Amethyst, Moonstone, Rose Quartz, and Black Obsidian.
